To the Media Lab Family,

We just had a lab wide meeting in which we announced the tragic news [about] Push Singh, a long time beloved member of the Media Lab community.... I know that many of you have known, worked with and loved Push for a very long time and my heart goes out to everyone. I had spent just a few hours with him, but was immediately impressed with his incredible intelligence, humanity and passion for his life's work. I will keep you up to date as we get more information.

Dear Colleagues,

I write to provide you with some details of the memorial service for our dear colleague and friend, Dr. Push Singh. The service will take place at the MIT Chapel at 3:00pm next Thursday, March 9th.

The service will last approximately two hours. There will be refreshments directly afterwards at the Media Lab in the Atrium.

Dear Media Lab Alumni and Friends,

It is with immense sadness that I inform you that our dear friend and colleague Push Singh passed away last Tuesday February 28th. This was a great shock to all of us. I know that many of you have known, worked with and loved Push for a very long time and my heart goes out to everyone. I had spent just a few hours with him, but was immediately impressed with his incredible intelligence, humanity and passion for his life's work. If anyone was the future of the Media Lab, it was Push.

I also want to inform you of several things that are being done in the near term to honor Push. We have set up a wiki to gather remembrances of Push at:
