I am Benjamin Mako Hill and this is my homepage at the lab. I am currently a first year Masters student in the Electronic Publishing research group working with Walter Bender. I am particularly interested in issues of collaboration and collaborative publishing.
My background is in the Free Software community where I have worked on a number of distributions including the Debian Project and Ubuntu. I am spending some of my time this year acting as the software guy for the Media Lab's $100 Laptop Project.
I keep a very up-to-date website with a list of my projects, interests, and papers. I also have a blog and contact information. You can find more information about me in all of these forms here:
Please don't hesitate to get in contact with me at mako@media.mit.edu if you any questions.
