A user interface link menu tool. Normal web pages have hypertext links that are like closed doors that must be passed through to see beyond them. Hallways offers a hovertext linkthrough look ahead at the titled links of the page you would ordinarily click on-- and yet another level down. The purpose is to allow you too see deeper into Wikipedia without losing the 'perspective by design' implicit in being able to stay at your page without opening 27 browser windows. Your doorways become hallways that let you see into all the rooms from a single point of perspective, without leaving the foyer, as in the enfilade style of interior architecture. This style of web architecture was originally suggested by Ted Nelson. Hallways is my implementation for the environment of wikipedia, which itself may not stray very far from Ted Nelson's description of a creativity support system.
